Lightning

Lightning are candles with all the colours of the rainbow symbolizing the six energy chakras of our body.

The lowest chakra, the root chakra is deep red and is the foundation of our life. It represents stability, survival and self-confidence. That’s why it’s bigger on the candle than all the other chakras. It carries them.

The chakras have different colours because each chakra (energy wheel) is spinning at a certain frequency. The frequency determines the colour.

The 6 chakras are placed somewhere between the tailbone and the top of the head. The lowest chakra, the root chakra is deep red, the sacral orange, the solar plexus yellow, the heart green, the throat indigo and the brow chakra purple.

The colour of the 7th chakra, the crown, is a creation of the 6 chakras’ energy uniting their colours into white light – the flame of the candle.

The lightning cutting through the red root chakra symbolizes how we are energized from the universe and how it’s connecting us to the earth. The lightning being the energy source that keeps us alive.

The pure beeswax candle emits a rich smell of honey, and is tinted with natural colours. Its unique shape is exclusively Bente’s design, handmade in the workshop in Alonnisos.

Beeswax candles clean the air when lighted and burn steadily with a good flame. 

When you light a candle make sure it is placed in a fire safe holder or on silver paper.

When you switch off the candle add a tiny drop of water onto the wick to avoid smoke.

Remember to cut the wick if necessary.

Tips:

If the colour of the candle looses its brightness then warm it up in the sun.

You can clean it with a damp cloth.

The candles are packed in hard boxes that ensure a safe travel to your home.
