Our gallery is situated in the fortified area called Kastro in the old village, Palia Alonnisos. In former days The Old Village was the main village of the island and is beautifully situated 200 metres above sea level.
We first opened "Gallery 5" in the summer of 1995 and it has been running since then every summer from mid May to the end of September.
We mostly exhibit and sell our own creations: watercolours, beeswax candles, books about Alonnisos and calendars, but we also have hand painted ceramics made by a local craftsman.
